Here are some frequently asked questions about Magmo Pro.

Do I need to connect to the app to record a call?

  • No, you can start recording by simply lifting the button on the device without connecting to the app. However, lifting the button will disconnect the Bluetooth connection with the device.

What should I do if Auto-Recording is not working?

  • Clear any old notifications from your iPhone's Lock Screen.
  • Make sure the Magmo app has all the necessary permissions. If you're unsure, scan the QR code provided in section 4) Automatic Call Recording for step-by-step instructions.

How long does the battery last?

  • Manual recording: Up to 8 hours.
  • Automatic recording(connected to the app): Up to 5 hours.
  • Can be used while charging; fully charged in 1 hour.

Is it compatible with the iPhone Mini?

  • Yes, it fits and works well with Mini models, and it is compatible with all versions from iPhone 12 onwards that have MagSafe built-in. For other devices, you can use a MagSafe ring.

Are there any charges for using the app?

  • There are no hidden costs or any charges.

Can you tell me about the AI transcription engine you use?

  • We use Apple's STT (Speech-to-Text) Framework, which is the same engine used by Siri when you type on the keyboard. It is free to use but has usage limitations.
